Is it impossible to find inexpensive golf in CR? I'm thinking a condo on a golf course would be nice to own, but not if the golf is $100.00 a round.
Can anyone recommend something?

Please read Tims reply on his Costa Rican Blog....http://blog.therealcostarica.com/2007/02/08/my-readers-write/ Most courses I couldn't afford and some are membership only...I am afraid we had to give up playing when we moved here 2 years ago..

Hi Golf is very cheap here .The central valley is the only sensible place to be where most people live 90%.Beach much too hot for golf or anything . Golf at Santa Ana is approx $30 a round or $250 a month and pleasent climate year round . Closed maybe 2 weeks due to heavy rain . private Cariari is championship .Share in club (resaleable ) approx $12,000 and golf $3 a round .One of cheapest places in world !!.
Beach I believe is expensive but uncomfortably hot .

Hi Barry, 3 bucks a round with a membership, holy cow that is cheap. I take it you are in the central valley, can I ask where (Escazu? Santa Ana?) Do you like it there, do you feel safe, etc?
