Your experience and your attitude, beachlife4us, (including your support of a new international airport on the Osa) is not what everyone experiences or feels.

 

Every government everywhere has its good and bad; sensible and stupid; illegal activities, etc. Why are you surprised that these things exist in Costa Rica? Do you think that these types of problems will not exist in Panama?

 

But my experience in Costa Rica is totally different from yours as is my outlook.

While some of us on this forum have visited Panama, most I would suspect have never actually lived there, so a true comparison is impossible.

 

Very true, agree, that is why I am on the fence, due to the fact more "actual living time" is needed by my spouse and I, before deciding if and where to become a permanent resident.
