Does anyone know if there will be English-language coverage of the Olympics on CableTica? If so, what channel(s)?

Shea,

If no one can tell you what channel the Olympics are on, you can try www.nbcolympics.com and watch the Olympics online.

Interesting Facts (Wikipedia-www.wikipedia.org)-Costa Rica At The Olympics.

Summer Olympics (1988): Seoul, Korea

Sylvia Poll

200 meter freestyle (1:58.67)

Silver Medal

Summer Olympics (1996): Altanta, Georgia, USA

Claudia Poll Arenhs

200 meter freestyle (1:58.16)

Gold Medal

Summer Olympics (2000): Sydney, Australia

Claudia Poll

200 meter freestyle (1:58.81)

Bronze Medal

400 meter freestyle (4:07:83)

Bronze Medal

Will Costa win a medal of some type again? We hope so.

Hope this helps.

Thanks, Laura. Interesting info on CR medal winners! I finally figured out where NBC is on CableTica, although it doesn't come in very well. I love the Olympics!

Shea,

I'm glad you enjoyed the trivia.

Hopefully, the Internet gave you a better picture than the television.

I love the Olympics, too.

My family and I will see you in Costa Rica summer 2013.

I found coverage in the morning on WNBC, channel 69 on my CableTica. I'm watching it right now (8:00 a.m.). Still don't know about evenings, because I'm house-sitting this week where there is no cable.

Shea,

So glad to hear that you found coverage of the Olympics (I assume in English) on CableTica.

Fact: Costa Rica first participated in the summer Olympics in 1936.

Fact: Number of Costa Rican participants in the 2008 summer Olympics: 8.
