Pura Vida Ahora
Are SIPs used (or even available) in CR for single family residential construction? And, if so, is insurance available for these structures? And while we're at it, how about glass block? Bill SIP's are relatively new in the states, and some people, in the states, are unfamiliar with them... let alone builders in CR...and with concrete being so cheap and again a familiar building product, it's unlikely Tico builders will change over to anything but concrete block...which brings me to the question, why would you want to use Sip's anyway ??? you certainly don't have a need for the superior insulation factors, or the "quiet" that SIP's gives...on the other hand, glass block is plentiful, although the styles, and sizes are limited....plus I've yet to see very many people do a decent job of installation...
