  1. When it is 100% - toward the end of this year; 1) Creates thousands of new jobs, 2) Better roads and infrastructure, 3) Proud symbol of growth for Costa Rica - all good!!
  2. HI Everyone. Here are three dates to choose from which hopefully will simplify choosing: 1] SAT OCT 26 2] SUN OCT 27 3] SAT NOV 2 GTG will be at Jalapeños Central in Alajuela. Norman recently expanded the dining room (just a little) and there are several new menu items. 1 & 2 will be during the Alajuela Orchid Association's annual Orchid Expo, about three blocks away, which is a very nice orchid show. Also, Jessica aka 'Reeves Tribe', will be arriving in CR on Saturday and said she might like to join us on one of those two days. 3 Falls on the day after the ARCR's First Friday Luncheon in SJ (Sabana Sur). We did Jalapeños last time and everyone who attended enjoyed it, plus it seemed reasonalbly centralized to all attending (about 10 or 12 people) and easy to find with street-side parking and two nearby guarded parking lots. We can come any time we choose or straggle in as we see fit. That's OK with Norman, the owner. The place is open 11:30 to 9pm on SAT and closes an hour earlier on Sundays. Those of you who'd like to attend, please let me know by Wednesday the 23rd, and I'll keep a running total. Please either RSVP to this topic or email me at stanhopi@gmail.com and give a 1st and 2nd choice (1, 2, or 3) for the date you'd like to attend. We'll go with whatever gets the most votes. Remember, both newbies AND oldbees are welcome to attend. No particular agenda, just nice chat and good food! Cheers! Paul M ==
