  1. I can't believe no one is mentioning that if you seek out a Realtor who is a member of the Camara Costaricense de Bienes Raices, then you will have a legal recourse if that realtor is not completely honorable in his practices. Not to mention that this is the only recognized organization in Costa Rica that regulates the action of it's member agents. Why would anyone risk using a pig in a poke (so to speak) when they can just look for recognized CCRBR members in good standing. Not to mention they have been educated in the practice of real estate and ethics and law etc.
