  1. Hello all, I'm new to the board. I had this great idea to move to CR. It's more than a great idea, but some of the prep is not looking as easy as it did originally. I thought I could do the paperwork on my own - but I'm getting mixed answers up here. I was told I need a Costa Rica attorney here in Houston. I thought that was a great idea, because I also want to send a freight shipment to myself. I read it would be to my advantage to have someone in Costa Rica arranging/helping with both. Suggestions? What kind of lawyer do I need, or do I really need one? Can anyone suggest or refer a freight forwarding company? Do I need a Costa Rica address prior to all of this? I am leasing a house in Playa Potrero and my lease begins June 1. Don't know if I'm going to be able to make that deadline. In advance, I thank you and appreciate any help you can pass my way. Mags
